Attempt for Guinness World Record for maximum number of organ donation pledges within 8 hours on 9th August 2018. The objective is to utilize this attempt as an opportunity to generate awareness about organ donation in the entire District 3131 and beyond. Club's contribution in preparation for the event: 1. Carried complete responsibility of functional and performance testing of organ donation website https://giftlife.co.in 2. Participated in training of volunteers about using the website 3. Organized awareness programs at B J Medical Collage and Spring Computing Technologies Pvt. Ltd. addressing more than 800 participants 4. Distributed leaflets and shared information at public places like malls and gardens 5. Promoted the event on social media such as Facebook, Whatsapp, and Youtube Club's contribution on 9th August, the day of organ donation pledging: 1. Ensured more than 400 pledges including 80% of the club members, families and friends 2. Carried primary responsibility of IT infrastructure at the war room 3. Provided guidance to the volunteers in the war room in dealing with various technical challenges 4. Supported volunteers and donors on phone throughout the day answering their questions 5. Analysed and presented all the data to the Guinness Adjudicator, answered his questions and established authenticity of the data 6. Co-hosted musical concert "चंदनसा बदन" organized at Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha to appreciate contribution by non-Rotarians
